Dear Parents and Carers,
As you might be aware, we will talking to the children about RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) and we would like to remind you of our RSE Policy which contains the contents of the course. You can view this here.
The scheme includes lessons on relationships, puberty (Year 5) and conception (Year 6). Each of these sessions will be taught as part of PSHE lessons in class by the class teacher. In Year 6, the children will watch a short, animated video about conception.
We will be studying conception during week beginning 10th July 2023. You can watch the video on conception here, however this link will expire on 26th June 2023.
If you have any questions after watching the video, or would like your child to 'opt out' of the lesson on conception, please complete this Google Form. If you do not complete the form, we will take this as you giving your consent to your child taking part in the PSHE lessons on conception
