Yearbook thank you message

Handsworth has been such a roller coaster of opportunities and memories that we don’t know where to start. From the forest school in Year 1 to the Young Voices in Year 5 and the residential in Year 6, we have had so much fun spending time with each other. We are so lucky to be in an environment where we can thrive and have so many moments together. We are very emotional to finally leave Handsworth, but we are also excited to embark on our new adventures at secondary school. The friendships we have made and the journeys we have been through will be carried with us and buried deep in our hearts.
Thank you to the heroic parents and carers who have made our time at Handsworth so much better, and a special thank you to the Friends Of Handsworth for raising money for the school and providing us with so many opportunities.
Thank you to our lunch staff who have cooked daily for us, keeping us healthy and full.
Although we are being separated and some of us are starting brand new journeys, Handsworth will always be a big part of our lives. We never would have gotten as far as we have without all the amazing support we have received. All the LSAs and teachers who have guided us along the way, who we are forever thankful to and, even through Covid, managed to take care of us from afar. They are such fabulous role models and they have transformed us into the people we are now. We are so grateful for the support and guidance that we were given throughout all these years at Handsworth. We will always remember you for the kindness and patience you have shown us, no matter what.
Another big thank you to Dale, Nicola, and all of the other cleaners for making the school spotless and taking care of our hygiene even though we may not be the tidiest or cleanest people. And to the office workers who sit day after day making sure we are happy, cared for, and safe - devoting so much time to us and our needs.
And one final giant thank you to Miss Addai, Mrs. Nairne, and all the other outstanding staff who hold this school together and have always been there for us. Thank you for all the doors you opened, fears you helped us conquer, and for the leaps of faith you convinced us to take throughout our time at Handsworth.
