LO: To be able to multiply numbers by 3 Week 1: 4-6.1.17 |
This week we did a variety of activities and games to learn and consolidate the 3x table. We did written work and we worked the sums out mentally too. We used white boards and counters for the games. For some of the games we worked with our partners. |

Put the cards upside down in one pile. Pick up card. If it is a multiple of 3 say the sum. If it is the sum, say the answer. |

Evaluation
We had a lot of fun with the variety of games to learn and consolidate the 3x table.
The Nrich Challenge was tricky in the beginning but once we understood the pattern we were able to work out which houses Charlie could choose from.
We would like to do similar lessons again!
