P4C - Would you rather be?

22 May 2016

WOULD YOU RATHER BE...?

As part of  a group we had to make up a poster with the question...
'Would you rather be...?'

An example of such a question:

What would you rather find?

A magic sweety bag that is always full
A magic book that talks to you
A magic carpet that can take you anywhere.
Because ……..………………………………………………………

We read through the statements that were handed to us. We had to decide what we would rather be. We had to write down the reasons for our decisions too. If we disagreed with a member of the group we were allowed to write our own reasons too.

This was a very good discussion lesson.
We did not agree with all the answers. We were able to explain our own reasoning. It was good that the others in the group listened carefully to our explananations.

Our posters are on the P4C display
