Maths - Problem Solving
19 Oct 2015
In Maths we created new catalogues for IKEA.
We used pictures of a variety of IKEA items.
Each item had a price tag.
We had to double all the prices. In our group we were allowed to choose which method to use to double the prices.
We also had to put the prices in order. In our groups we discussed and decided which order will be the easiest to use.
We were very excited about our catalogues. We each received a token of appreciation for our hard work on the catalogues.
We are very confident in doubling numbers. We can also put 2 and 3 digit numbers in order: biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest.
This was a fun lesson and we would like to do a lesson like this again.
