Good morning 2KC!

27 Apr 2020

Good morning lovely 2KC!

I hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend with your family.  It has been glorious with lots of sunshine for everyone to enjoy.

I have been enjoying spending quality time at home with my family. We have been busy in the garden this weekend. We have planted lots of seeds including: sunflowers, cress and tomatoes. I love this time of the year especially when flowers and trees come into bloom and you can hear the birds chirping away. I am so pleased to see my tulips in full bloom.  Please see photos of my tulips and cress below. What do you love about springtime? I would love to hear your thoughts? I know some of you have been busy planting too.  Remember to give your plants all the things they need so that they can grow healthy and strong.

Last week,  I enjoyed watching the animal live at Edinburgh zoo with my sons.  I know lots of you absolutely love animals. If you are interested, please click on this link  https://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/webcams/gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkqiJ38X56AIVQe7tCh1GVAI5EAAYASABEgLawvD_BwE
My favourite to watch are the giant pandas. Did you know they are the only giant pandas in the UK? I'm yet to see the tigers I think they sleep a lot!

You can also experience an African safari from the safety of your living room.  There are safari tours streaming from South Africa on https://wildearth.tv/
twice a day.  If you sign up for a live safari in advance, a naturalist will be able to answer your questions directly via.  Skype messenger during the tour. You can also watch live webcams from other game reserves at
https://www.africam.com/wildlife/ and https://explore.org/livecams

I hope you are ready for another week of learning and fun with your family.  Please see the homework section for your daily maths and english tasks, weekly spellings, reading task and for  this week,  our project is based on Religious Education:  Ramadan. Please see our home page for more fun activities. If you have a Show and Tell, please upolad your photo and message in the homework section below. Thank you for sharing your work and all the fun things you do with me.  I am so impressed with your home learning!    I am really looking forward to seeing your work, photos and messages this week.

P.S. The 5-a-day-fitness website has been revamped.

Good morning Mrs Chetty. I love your tulips and your cress. I love spring because it means you get to get out paddling pools and water slides. Hope you have a lovely day. Emily

Hello Mrs Chetty, that was a lovely message. Your tulips look bright and colourful I bet they smell nice. The cress looks yummy. Yesterday I planted potatoes, chilly seeds, cucumber seeds, carrots and courgette seeds. We also planted lots of wild flower seeds. I miss you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. Hello Athena. I hope you had a great weekend with your family. Thank you - the tulips brighten up my garden. So you have been really busy gardening too 😊 Make sure you take good care of the seeds. Enjoy your evening. Sending you a big hug πŸ€—
