The statements are what year 2 pupils are working towards achieving by the end of the school year.
As your child's class teachers we will make a judgement against the statements using a broad range of evidence, which will come from day-to-day work in the classroom, this is part of our everyday practice.
In order for a child to be assessed at a particular standard they will need to have met all of the statements within that section by the end of the year.
For example, if a child is assessed as 'working at the expected' standard then they need to meet all of the statements within that section.
