Good morning 2KC!

09 Jun 2020

A very good morning to everyone!

I hope you are well and you are having a great start to your week!  Remember in life, sometimes we may experience good days and bad days. It is important that we take the time to think about our feelings. In class, we have spent a lot of time mastering the feelings scale 1-5 and we explored ways we can help ourselves to reconnect with our bodies to regain a sense of calmness, if we are at a number 4 or 5. Gentle breathing is one of the ways we explored – please click on the picture below and have a go, so that you are ready for your brand new day! You can see  LIFE SKILLS:  Mental Health and Wellbeing on our class homepage to remind yourself of this.

Updates:
Please see our READING section on our homepage,  for Nick Sharratt’s illustrated story dice, a great way for children to start making up their own stories! Make storytelling a regular family activity - the more children have fun with stories, the more likely they will want to be involved with books and reading. I have also included a recommended reading list of a selection of new books due to be released this summer.

Answers to yesterday’s riddles:
  1.  A Dino-snore!
  2.  Because she was stuffed!
  3.  Frost bite!
  4.  Dinner is on me!
  5.  Spelling!
  6.  A bat!

Wishing you a fun, safe and enjoyable Tuesday. Thinking of you!

Lots of loveheart
Mrs Chetty

Good Afternoon Ms Chetty. I am feeling strong and happy. I am at 1. We are making the map. Thanks for organising the fun activity. Every day we discuss our highs and lows of the day too. So what made us happy and what made us sad. Have a good day. :-)
