Good morning 2KC!

23 Apr 2020

Good morning 2KCsmiley

I hope that you are all safe and well.  We are nearly at the end of the week and the sun continues to shine!  I have received lots of work from some of you yesterday.  I am so proud of how hard you are working during very unusual times so keep it up!  It is great to see that you have been doing a range of different work and fun activities, including daily exercise. Do have a look at the Home section of our class webpage.  There are lots more fun activities for you to choose from.

Speaking of exercise, I am going to start off my day by taking my dog (Rubble) for his daily morning walk in the park with my boys. My youngest son loves watching Paw Patrol, in particular the character Rubble, so he insisted we name our dog Rubble! Rubble is being very mischievous at the moment during lockdown.  When we put the washing out to dry on the line he does everything he can to grab a peg and then he tries to crunch it up and swallow it before we can get it off him!   If he does manage to get a peg mayhem ensues as he runs around the garden completely delighted with himself while we chase him trying to get the peg back. He loves this peg game but I don’t! He also loves playing catch, hide and seek, going through obstacles, running around the garden, getting hold of our bunny’s toys and hiding them, receiving treats for good behaviour, sunbathing after a long walk and most of all being tickled. My boys are enjoying teaching him some new tricks. Rubble turned 1 on the 21st of January.  He is naughty but adorable and we love him dearly. See below for photos of Rubble.

I know lots of you have pets at home.  How are you caring for your pet and entertaining them during lockdown? Athena, I know that you are trying to persuade your parents to get a bunny – my fingers are crossed for you!

Wishing you all a wonderful day filled with joy and happiness!

Lots of loveheart
Mrs Chetty

Dear Mrs Chetty, I wish I had a pet. I keep persuading my parents to get me a dog. I am very used to dogs because both my neighbours have dogs. One of them is called Buster and the other one is called Billie. She's a girl. I once took Buster to the dog show and he won oldest dog and lots of other prizes. Lots of love, Emily

Dear Ms Chetty, I have a cat called Inzo. He is well known around the area as he goes into lots of peoples houses and gardens. He is like a dog as he walks up the road with us. Our next door neighbour has a dog called Charlie. Inzo teases him by climbing up onto their shed and ignoring the barking. He also knocks on my mums window in the middle of the night to be let in.We also have a big teddy called Mr Grumbles. He is the size of an adult and Inzo lies on him. Have a good day.

Hi Sophia! Really? Thank you! I am certain that Athena and her siblings would love the opportunity of caring for their very own rabbit and hamster. You can do this Athena! 😊
