Welcome to the Summer Term!

20 Apr 2020

Good morning 2KC!

I hope you are all well and happy, ready for the summer term! It is a very unusual start to the term.  Usually, I would see all your lovely smiling faces at the door, I would hear all about your amazing Easter break and you would be looking forward to your ‘Show and Tell’ session today.  But just because we’re not all in the same building, doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun together! So why not share your favourite part of your Easter break in the comments section below or even upload a photo of something you would like to show.  I have something that I would like to share with you.

You will have lots of activities to enjoy over the summer term – so keep a close eye on our class webpage. In the homework section, you will find a daily Maths and English task, a weekly reading and spelling task and a History project. On our class home page, you will find lots of fun activities to choose from, but don’t worry if you are unable to complete them.  Remember - little and often is much better than sitting for hours at a time working.  I want to make sure you are still being active and you are spending quality fun time with your family.   I am looking forward to seeing your fantastic learning and all the exciting things you have been getting up to. Please keep sending your work or even pop by to say’ hello’ by uploading your messages on our class webpages  – I really look forward to this as it brightens my day.

I miss you all very much.  It is very important we follow the advice from the government, which is to stay at home so that we can keep safe.

Have a joyful day.  Thinking of you!

Lots of love heart
Mrs Chetty

Hi Ms Chetty, I hope you are well. I created a game for my family members to play. We have 2 teams and set challenges each week. We won the skipping challenge. I got a slime set as a prize. We had to do a dance with Oti, ski jumps, do a picture of Lunar the cat and do a handclap. We are waiting for the results. I hope we win this week.

I also have a Woodlice hotel. I created it with woodchippings and dried leaves. I take them on walks every day. We take them back home every week and get a new group. I REALLY MISS YOU AND 2KC! :-) :-) :-):-) :-) :-) :-)

Dear Mrs Chetty, the food looks great. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it. My easter holiday was great. We had an egg hunt and for Greek easter we made some boiled eggs and decorated them.
