Following on from the Virtual Cosmic Classroom and all the information we have received from Major Tim Peake, we decided  that we would like to undergo training to become astronauts. Here are the exercises we did, concentrating on improving strength, stamina, dexterity and teamwork.

We had a picture of the group doing step-ups to improve stamina, but it was very blurry. We do however have a movie of the activities which will follow soon.

I loved the visit from the Chelsea gardeners! Did you? The session when we explored our senses in the garden was wonderful! Did you begin to hear and smell things you hadn't before? Was your blueberry sweet or sour??! I hope they will visit us again in the future!

The Astronaut Training session was SO much fun!! How did you get on? Did you find a strength you didn't know you had? Was the part with the ski gloves super tricky? How did you feel when you were blindfolded and had to trust your friends to get you past the obstacles? Which part was the most challenging for you? There were lots of raised pulses at the step-up station! You really worked hard and enthusiastically during this session 4JL! Well done!!
