Homework 20.05.22
19 May 2022
We are currently learning about
World War II. Make something for our display. You could find out what an Anderson Shelter is, find out about the Spitfire and the Battle of Britain. Maybe you could make your own spitfire? You could research about evacuation during the war and find out what happened to the children who lived in London. There is so much to learn about this war, we would love you to help others learn with your own creation or project. Be creative!
Make a class quiz. We have learnt so much this year! Can you create a challenging quiz to test your classmates and the other class! Maybe we could have a quiz off between the classes. Think back to all of the things we have learnt. Here are some ideas:
Shackleton, Odysseus, Lady of Shallott, The Nightbus Hero, Runaway Robot, When the Sky Falls, Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare, Anne Frank, UFO recounts.
The Heart, Evolution and Inheritance, Light, Electricity.
South America, Ancient Greece, World War 2.
Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, Cricket, Gymnastic routines, Basketball.
Expectations are that you do this week's spelling homework and
one of these tasks and that you hand it in by Tuesday 24th May. You are very welcome to do both.
Have a great weekend,
The Year 6 team.
