I think question 4 is BODMAS. Therefore you do the multiplication first. 5 x 6 = 30. Then 30 + 4 = 34. The order of operations - we usually call this BODMAS is....... 1. Brackets, 2. Order, 3. Division, 3. Multiplication, 4.Addition, 4. Subtraction. Note that 3 and 4 have the same importance so you do them in order of where they appear in a question. For example 10 - 3 + 2 = 9 - Although addition is in the question subtraction comes first. I hope that helps!
