Lesson two: planning our writing

Later in the week, you are going to report on the events that happened in The Lighthouse.
Your research on lighthouses will help you.

Today, you are going to plan your writing; draw a mind map or a bulleted list of what you would like to include in your report.

Think about the features of a report:
- Chronological order
- Facts (from yesterday)
- Quotes from eye witnesses (opinion)
- Paragraphs.

Also think about who your target audience is, why you are writing the report, any special vocabulary you would like to include and who your eye-witnesses will be.

What grammatical features can you include?
