Read for My School
11 Feb 2016
Once again, Handsworth is taking part in the Read for My School challenge!
Read for My School challenges children in Years 3-8 at primary and secondary schools in England to read as many books as they can across the spring term.
There are prizes for pupils and schools taking part in the competition.
Every pupil in Year 6 has a username and password pasted into their homework diary. They will need this – together with their classroom code – to log in to the
Read for My School website, where they can access over 100 free books.
The competition aims to challenge readers to read as much as they can; to read different types of books and explore new and unfamiliar genres and authors; to choose their own books and get talking to others about what they’ve read.
