Mountain leaflets

17 Dec 2015

Year 6 have been busy in Topic: researching mountains and producing a leaflet. Three budding mountaineers (Sir Ranulph Underhill, Captain Montague Darlington-Lovett and – of course – Hardy) had asked Year 6 to find them a mountain that they could climb.

Year 6 had to produce a leaflet that gave these mountaineers all the information that they would need to make an educated choice in which mountain to climb.

The children found a range of mountains (no pun intended!) and included a plethora of information including: What you would need, Maps, Pictures, Facts, Climate and When is best to visit.

What did you include and why?

Why should the group climb your mountain?
