Role models and leaders

Everyone in Year 6 completed their Young Leaders award and can now take on the role of Play Leader at Handsworth. They planned, organised and delivered an activity for a group of Year 4 pupils during their training and were fantastic in following the STEP method and remembering the key concepts of being a Leader.

In Maths we have been looking at decimals and algebraic equations.
Can you remember the BODMAS rules?
In English we have been reading The Adventures of Odyssesus. We finished the book to a great cheer as Odysseus was reunited with his family and loved ones. Over the weeks we have developed playscripts, dramas, poems and a soundscape to help us learn about the story.
