Wednesday Duck update

17 Jun 2020

Hello I thought I would give you an update on the ducks before I go home

There are now 4 eggs with crack in so the ducklings will hatch tonight or tomorrow.

When they hatch they will be a bit wet so they need to stay in the incubator until their feathers are fluffy.

They will be nice and cosy in the incubator, it's just like being underneath the mummy duck!

In the morning Dale will switch the heat lamp on in the brooder box (which is just like a radiator) and then Miss O'Connor will put the ducklings into the brooder box

I am not at school tomorrow so make sure Miss Halsey or Miss O'Connor send me photos of the ducklings!!

xxx Miss Walter
