Reading Books

07 Nov 2019

This week you will notice that your child has brought home a reading folder. (Don't fret if you haven't seen one- some are coming tomorrow!)

Your folder will contain
- A reading diary for you to sign when you read
- Two reading books at a time

The reading folder should come to school and back every day.
Your child's books will be changed once a week which gives lots of opportunity for rereading and reading other favourite books. (These reading books should accompany and not replace the books your child already loves to read).

We hope you enjoy these reading books. Be sure to shower your child with praise and let them know how proud you are of their storytelling and their growing phonic knowledge.

As ever, if you have any questions at all, come and grab me for a chat
Ms O'C
