RCG/JL - 'Bread Roll Faces'.

Mrs Giacuzzo - 30 Jan 2018

Bread Roll Faces.

Today we played a 'Guess the Food' game where children had to guess the food they were feeling, smelling and tasting. They used new words to describe the food like 'crunchy', 'soft', 'hard', 'juicy', 'sweet', 'sour', 'bitter', 'bland' and 'salty'.
They then chose their favourite foods to make a 'Bread Roll Face'.

Here are our marvelous creations!

Finally we wrote labels to go with our creations to describe what we made.
We used as many new words to describe the different foods as we could.

Can you write a review for your 'Bread Roll Face' in the 'comments' section below?

Did you like it?
What did it taste like?

What would you change next time?

Yes, I liked it. It was yummy, salty and soft. Next time I would put more olives and pretzels (typed by Lara). Another brilliant activity, such a good idea to get the children to stretch their vocabulary. Thanks for all the effort in getting the kids to learn in such a fun and interactive way. Sara

Thank you for the photo updates. Lakisha could describe what she used to make the face at home and she said she had fun. Praneeta
