Elijah was so proud of his sunflower and a snail ate it at the top and all the leaves fell off! :-( determined to keep it growing, hoping for some sunshine soon!

Thank you for your comments. The children absolutely loved this topic and learnt so much. They particularly enjoyed the bean experiment, witnessing the changes. They loved the fact the science does not always go to plan - the plant with no light was not meant to grow!!!!! I hope that Elijah's sunflower has made a recovery and yes, Ikra does love planting and getting messy!!
