Welcome to Y5 HS

06 Sep 2013

A very warm welcome to all the children in Year 5 HS,  parents and carers.
We hope you have all had a tremendous summer and
are looking forward to the new school year.

We have had a very hot start to the term but have been working hard on our Take One Picture Project, which will continue next week.
This year, the picture is Pica
sso's 'Parade'.

For our DT Masks session, we would appreciate you bringing to school on Monday small cardboard boxes, no bigger than a cereal packet.
Homework this week is to write a short speech about why you would like to be the Class Representative for either the School Council or the Eco-Council.  If you do not wish to be a representative, please write a short speech about who in the class would make a good representative and why.  We will present our speeches on Tuesday 10th September and vote for the reps!
We hope to see parents at the Orientation Meeting at 9 am on Tuesday 10th September in the Main Hall.  The meeting should be approximately 10 minutes long.

Have a lovely weekend,
Ms Soar and Mrs Warminger
