Speed stacking cups towering above our heads!

29 Feb 2012

To build a tower you need some good engineers, very patient helpers and nerves of steel.

Firstly we had to plan how many cups we'll need for the base of the tower.  After this we each had a turn to place the
cups to start building the tower.

This is how the building unfolded....

This is our first attempt.  Not bad if you think that 30 of us had to pass the tower several times while trying to contain our enthusiasm.

For our second attempt, we went even higher.  Luckily Miss Jordaan came to the rescue to place the last few cups on the top of the tower.  This was a nerve wracking experience.

We stood in awe, admiring our amazing handywork.

Suddenly.....The Tower came tumbling down like the water from a waterfall!

Which of the following words describe our facial expressions the best?

Jaw-dropping    Shell-shocked     Total hysteria    Extreme-excitement

Can you think of any other words or phrases to describe this picture?
