Friends of Handsworth end of term events
22 Jul 2021
Dear parents and carers,
As we finish the school year, some of our children will be leaving us to go to secondary school and we wish our year 6 pupils well in this next chapter in their lives. We also want to say thank you to their parents and carers for all the support they have given to Friends of Handsworth over the years. Please don’t be strangers, we will be here for many years to come
.
Few reminders below:
TODAY - Krispy Kreme sale will be in the carpark, for those that didn’t buy online, at the end of school. You had better be fast as at the last sale all doughnuts were sold in under 10 minutes! If you have pre-ordered online, class teachers will be handing them out to your children as they leave today.
Raffle tickets: Please hand in your stubs and money today. There will be more tickets available at the Summer Picnic for those that wish to purchase more.
Our Summer Picnic is on this Saturday 24
th July from 11am to 5pm. We are still in need of volunteers and prizes for Lucky Dip, Hook a Duck and Ball in a Bucket. This should be a really fun day out for all and we look forward to seeing many of you there. Please check the link below for the stalls rota slots still available:

There is a trolley by the school office for donations for the stalls.
Please note we are not accepting second hand toys at this event.
Unfortunately, due to an issue with the alcohol license, we will not be able to sell alcoholic drinks at the Summer Picnic. Please bring your own if you wish to. We will be providing soft drinks and non alcoholic beers, wine and others.
Lastly a huge thank you to Mrs Nairne, all the fabulous teachers, teaching assistants, office staff, kitchen staff and the one and only Dale. You make every little part of our children’s experience at school extra special. If there is anything positive to come out of this pandemic, it is the fact that we all now fully appreciate what a fantastic (and difficult!) job you do. THANK YOU.
