Victorian clothes for Assembly and Trip Year 4

23 Nov 2014

Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed the amazing Art Exhibition on Friday in both Halls. What incredibly talented children we have at Handsworth!!
As you know from the School diary it's Year 4 Class assembly on Friday 5th December/Victorian Day. We would love the children to dress up if possible. Please don't go and buy stuff though. Often other children have things they can share to save this being tricky!  Do let us know if problems and am sure we can help.
Some children may be able to use their costumes to wear when we go to the ragged Museum too(on Tuesday 16th Dec),though no top hats for this one/tails- It was for poor children!  Rags/face painted dirt/peak caps/....etc. The general public wont know what's hit them that day! Thanks in advance!

I am looking forward to the assembly. Oliver has been singing The Lambeth Walk most evenings.

Brilliant assembly, well done to all the children and Mrs Leftwich. You are all the "bee's knees".
