Brain box Maths

09 Feb 2017

These are a range of problem solving activities requiring children to think more laterally. It is also a great  way of getting children to talk through maths problems without recording anything.

The above task was asking the children to share out 20 counters equally between 4 squares on the card.

The above activity involved a magic square. The children had to make each side add up to 10 using the numbered counters.
