1 CG/JL Science - Materials

In Science this week we have been discussing different materials and the things that they are used for. We discussed wood, glass, metal, plastic, clay, and fabric. Can you think of any others?

On the way home each day we look at the building work going on at the secondary school: first they used machines to dig down to down to the clay layer and now the workers are using different materials, like gravel, to make a stable base for the building. I wonder what materials will be made to make the new building?
