Year 4 Trip to ‘The Ragged School Museum’
Thursday 12th November 2015 (4LW)

Dear Parents/Carers                                                                                                                      
 
As part of our Victorian topic this term, we would like to take Year 4 to ‘The Ragged School Museum’, on Thursday 12th November and Friday 13th November.   We will be leaving school at 9.00 and returning to school by 3.30p.m.
 
We invite the children to wear any clothes likely to be worn in a Victorian Classroom for the trip, although this isn’t compulsory.
 
In order to cover the cost of the trip we need to ask for a voluntary contribution of £5.25 per child.  Please provide your online payment and authorise the trip via the school shop.  If you are unable to make payment online, please sign and return the consent form together with the payment in a marked envelope to your child’s class teacher by Friday 23rd October
 
If your child is eligible and registered for Free School Meals, we are able to subsidise educational visits, including residential trips through Pupil Premium funds.  Please tick the relevant box on the reply slip.  If you are unsure as to whether your child is eligible for Free School Meals or would like more information please do speak to the school office or visit www.walthamforest.gov.uk.  We assure parents that all matters regarding Free School Meals and the use of Pupil Premium funds are treated with discretion and in confidence.
Children will need:
  • Packed lunch in a rucksack or shoulder bag (no fizzy drinks or glass bottles)
  • Sensible footwear and raincoat if necessary.
  • Victorian school costume/ School Uniform
