Art - Paintings
08 Feb 2015
In art we've created our own Sunsets and Winter Evening scenes
We painted the sunsets first. We used all the warm colours: red, orange and yellow.
After that we cut out our own buildings out of black card. Once the paint was dry we stuck these on the sunsets.
We gave each of our paintings a name. eg. 'Homes in the sunset'.
Next we were allowed to choose which borders we wanted to put on our art work.
Finally we put everything together and now our lovely sunsets are on display in the class room.
For the Winter evening scences we've used blue, purple and a little bit of black.
We painted the backrounds and once they were dry we added some stars in the sky using glitter glue, yellow and white paint.
After that we cut some buildings out of black card. We cut small yellow squares/rectangles for the windows (showing light from inside the buildings).
We stuck everything together and Miss Jordaan helped us to choose borders for our pictures.
These are also on display in the classroom.
WE ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR ART WORK
