Maths - Positional language

In Maths we've been learning about positional language.

Partner work: One person closed his/her eyes. The other person hid one of the owls in the classroom. The person who hid the owl then gave the other person instructions on how to find the owl.

We used vocabulary such as...behind, below, underneath, forwards, backwards, on top, in front, left, right, far, near etc.

We were all able to find the hidden owls!
