I’m dad to Ori (in Reception) and Romy (in nappies!), and I’ve worked passionately in
primary education for the past 15 years.
Currently, I spend part of my time supporting children’s emotional health and wellbeing as a
Senior Mental Health Lead; I am also a Leadership and Organisational Consultant and
Developmental Coach.
I care deeply that our schools nurture happy and emotionally healthy little people. This
means as a parent governor, I would contribute an experienced, collaborative, and
compassionate voice in advocating for mental health and wellbeing, supporting our school to
continue being the brilliantly nurturing place it clearly is.

I have been the Head of Financial Planning at a national charity for the last seven years. My
role includes developing and implementing the long-term strategy, appraising financial
investments and managing corporate risks. Practicing good governance is a key part of my
role and I regularly liaise with and report to our Trustees. Previous to this I have worked in
finance roles in retail organisations.
I would like to use my experience to help constructively challenge and give assurance to the
strategic direction of Handsworth. I have a daughter in Year 2, and my youngest will
hopefully join in September.
Voting ended.
