ASTROKYDS SESSIONS ARE ORGANISED BY THE LOUGHTON ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY
*‘This session is aimed at young astronomers and is run by some of the LOUGHTON ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY members. Activities include simple experiments, audience participation, demonstrations, show and tell, quizzes, mythology of constellations and, if the sky’s clear, some real observing. The aim is to kindle the interests rather than to provide a formal course in astronomy.’

The next session will take place on Friday 13 Jan 2017 at St Mary’s Church Hall in Theydon Bois.
This is on Coppice Row (the main road between Abridge and the roundabout on the Epping New Road). St Mary's Church Hall is between the new Village Hall and Piercing Hill. The session will run from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
The theme for the session is Winter Skies.
There is a £2 fee for this session that is payable on the night at the door.
Parents will be responsible for transport to and from the venue and are encouraged to stay.
Children will be expected to be exceptionally well behaved at all times as they will be representing Handsworth Primary School.
If you would like your child to participate in this session and you need more information or a map you can let Miss Jordaan Year 3/Science Subject Leader know.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!!!
