Spellings:
- You are learning Spring 2: Week 1
- Instead of using the look, cover, spell, check method, we would like you to use The Spelling Shed to learn your spellings.
- Sign in using your login details pasted into the back of your Home School Diary).
- You will then see your two assignments for this week.
Maths:
- This week, complete the length and perimeter A sheet to consolidate your learning from this week.

- Please complete the word jumble exercise and rivers vocabulary game - Answers here.
Reading:
- Please listen to your child read out loud every day for at least ten minutes.
- Ask them questions about what they have just read.
- Questions you might ask:
- Who are the characters in the book? Do you like them? Why?
- Can you summarise in one sentence the piece you have read out to me?
- Were there any words you didn't understand?
- Tell me a couple of facts about the book.
- What is the book about?
- What has interested you most about the book so far?
- What is the genre of the book?
