Our debate on whether a new development we read about in the local paper should go ahead.

We have been discussing facts and opinions. We looked at some articles in local papers and discussed which were facts and which were opinions. We developed arguments for and against a local building development going ahead using information we found in the article. Today we had a debate where each of us took on a character from the community. Thomas was our chair person. He did a fantastic job at chairing, asking great questions and summing up the things discussed at the end. We then voted. Most of us were against the motion! I was really proud of 4EL. Great drama skills too,getting into role.
