Learning objective:
addition and subtraction using written column methods
Today you are going to add 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers to each other.
There are 3 levels. You can choose which level you would like to do.
* Adding a 2 digit number to a 2 digit number should be the easiest.
***Adding a 4 digit number to a 4 digit number should be the challenge.
You need to use the written vertical/column method to add the numbers.
Don't forget the + symbol.
You need to follow the KEY on the sheet to figure out which digits go with which symbol.
All the answers are available for you to mark your work. Remember to show how you've worked out the answers.
