History Week 1

31 May 2020

Each Monday there will be new activities for our new History topic:  CRIME AND PUNISHMENT.

You do not have to do all of the activities in one go but hopefully there is lots for you to enjoy and learn.

We start by looking at the Romans and the legacy they left.  It gives you a good opportunity to look at what happens today, what they did back then and then compare them.

Answer the questions at the start of the powerpoint, in your books, before you look at the rest of the powerpoint.  Then answer the questions at the end of the lesson to see what you have remembered.

There is also a follow up activity if you want more.  If you are able to print it off that is great but you could match up the pictures and defintions yourself in your books.

  -Lesson 1 - The Roman Legacy.ppt-

-Activity Sheet Crime and Punishment Vocabulary.pdf-

Enjoy.

You should do the Maths and the English each day. Then you can do the Science and History when you can. You may be doing other activities which is fine but make sure you try to practise your Maths and English skills each day.
