Good morning Year 5 and welcome back to the second half of your Maths lessons for the Summer Term!

We hope you have had a lovely Half Term break.

Please remember with the Maths lessons to try your best and spend time planning your answers and showing your working out.  We are challenging you as we know you are very capable.  You need to keep practising so that you can gain in confidence and improve your skills.

If you are not sure on something, make sure you ask us.  We are here to help and would be happy to do so.  Another thing you could do is to write questions in the back of your book so that whenever we return to school, you will remember what you are not sure on and we can look at it at school.  Be proud and keep trying your best.  Use your time wisely.

Every Friday we will be doing a Maths Challenge which will test different Maths skills.  Hope you enjoy today's lesson which is about the Area of Rectangles.
