3RT teach Year 6 - Bones of the body

21 Jan 2015

Over the Year, 3RT have been learning as many of the bones of the body as they can and now they are ready to teach others.  Three of our class showed off their knowledge and helped Mr Oakley teach a lesson on Wednesday afternoon.  It is fair to say that he and all of 6MO were very impressed with our knowledge of the subject.

If you are in another class and would like to know the name of any bone in the body, ask a child in 3RT and they will be more than happy to help.

Can you name any of the bones in the body?

Can you write any facts about bones in the body?

The longest bone in the body is the femur. The smallest bone in the body is the stirrup found in the ear. The finger tips and the toe tips are the phalanges. The bones in your feet are the tarsals and metatarsals. The bones in your hands are the carpals and metacarpals. The 5th section of the spine is the coccyx. Phoeve. Ps The activelearn site is not working so I cannot do my half term maths homework. :)
