Good Morning! 25.03.20

24 Mar 2020

 β€‹
What if we could go on a trip…

and if the trip started here … at the beach

(This is interactive! Click on the screen as it plays – look around!)

         https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6S8s_WBKYo

And then we saw something incredible at the National History Museum … (did you spot Mary Anning?)

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yBQ9adCHTo

And finally we met some experts from the Lapworth Museum who shared amazing finds with us.
(Click on the objects of the month!)

I went on this trip whilst sitting in my kitchen and it really cheered me up!

I hope you will go too!

Tell me what you enjoyed, what wowed you, what were your favourite parts?

Leave a message for myself and your friends to see!

I really liked the walk on the beach! I looked down at the stones a lot but I don't think I saw any fossils! The Rhomaleosaurus video was cool, imagine if that happened every night when everyone went home in the evenings! I especially enjoyed the Lapworth Museum videos as I had visited the gallery last year. It's hard to pick one but the Smilodon video was excellent because I learned so many new things, even some maths, as I watched it!

Zach really liked the Rhomaleosaurus coming to life in the Natural History museum. We thought it would be cool to see other dinasaurs in this way. He also enjoyed watching about the mammoths tooth and found out that the shoulder width of the mammaoth was 11ft which is as long as daddy and mummy lying down head to foot! (nearly). Zach remembered lots of facts about Mary Anning and the fossils that the children found on the beach.
