25 May 2023
Thank you for your continued support in helping your child to complete all their homework and to hand it in on time.
Here is the homework for this week. It is due in on Thursday 8th June 2023.
Reading Records:
Children should update their reading record on our whole class Padlet.
It must be updated weekly as you would your child's reading journal, to record what they have read each week.

Spellings:
You are learning: Summer 1 Week 6.
Use The Spelling Shed to learn your spellings. Your login details are pasted into the back of your Home School Diary. You will see two assignments for this week.
Maths:
- The children will take the Multiplication Tables Check in June. The purpose of the MTC is to determine whether pupils can recall their times tables fluently, which is essential for future success in mathematics.
- It is vital that you use the midterm break to practice your multiplication and division tables facts!
Computing:
As you heard in our recent class assembly, we have been learning about and applying different strands of computational thinking. Here is a link that takes you to a website that challenges you to put all those methods of thinking into practice! Year 4 children should attempt the Castors Challenges but if you would like to try the other levels too, click here!
