Homework - due on 9th March

03 Mar 2023

Thank you for your continued support in helping your child to complete all their homework and to hand it in on time on Thursdays.

Here is the homework for this week.

It is due in on Thursday 9th March 2023.

Spellings:
  • You are learning Spring 2: Week 2
  • Use The Spelling Shed to learn your spellings.
  • Sign in using your login details, which are pasted into the back of your Home School Diary.
  • You will then see your two assignments for this week.
Maths:
  • This week, complete the sheet: Division Bus Stop Method. Our recent assessment showed that everyone needs more practise in this area.
  • On the back of this sheet is the times tables - please support your child in reciting different times tables - perhaps even singing them along to their favourite tune!
  • Please check your ANSWERS.
English:
  • Please complete the reading comprehension on mountains.
  • Please check your -ANSWERS .
    .

Reading:

  • Please listen to your child read out loud every day for at least ten minutes.
  • Ask them questions about what they have just read.
  • Questions you might ask:
  • Who are the characters in the book? Do you like them? Why?
  • Can you summarise in one sentence the piece you have read out to me?
  • Were there any words you didn't understand?
  • Tell me a couple of facts about the book.
  • What is the book about?
