  • This work is in preparation for next week's learning.
  • Mark your work -corrected answers  - apologies for the errors!
Reading:
  • Please listen to your child read out loud every day.
  • Listen to them read out loud for ten minutes and then ask them questions about what they have just read.
Questions you might ask (suggested by 4JG):
  • Who are the characters in the book? Do you like them? Why?
  • Can you summarise in one sentence the piece you have read out to me?
  • Were there any words you didn't understand?
  • Tell me a couple of facts about the book.
  • What is the book about?
  • What has interested you most about the book so far?
  • What is the genre of the book?
