Here's what we've been up to this week:

 
Happy St David's Day Everyone!

Today we made welsh cakes to celebrate St David's Day. They were delicious!

Here we are sifting and stirring:

 


We also had to measure, stir, crack and add ingredients. Ask us which ingredients we used.

 

Literacy:
We read the story 'The Owl and the Pussy-cat' which we then drew a story map for to re-tell the story.






 
Some of us used the smart board to record our story maps:



 
Then we pretended we were either the Owl or the Pussy-cat and looked through a telescope to see what we could see from the boat:

Maths:

We were learning about the time in maths this week. We played time games on the computer:

We used clocks to help us solve problems:
 


 
P.E.
In P.E. this week we practised sending and receiving a big ball. We used our feet to pass the ball as well as our hands:
