Thank you Mrs Lucas, it is very important to see voting as a duty of citizenship and you teaching them at this age is brilliant. We always take Ela to voting stations and let her drop our envelopes to the ballot box, she loves it!

Thank you for your comment. Children are never too young to learn the importance of citizenship and the role that they will play in our country and world. Before voting, I talked to the children how lucky we are in our country to have the right to vote and that not everyone is as lucky in the wider world. It is fantastic that you are supporting Ela too in her understanding of citizenship.
