Numbers, numbers, numbers!

We have been practising how to count by grouping in tens and 5s - here are some pictures to show you what we did.  Some of us found this really hard to start with but we were getting much better and more confident the more we practised.  See if you can remember how to count by grouping in 10s and 5s and show your parents, careers, neighbours and friends.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here are a few questions for you to solve (remember these are quite tricky so you will need to show your workings so that your parents, carers, neighbours and friends know how to work it out)

True or false...5 groups of 5 is 80

True or false...8 groups of 5 is 45

True or false...if there were 6 children in a line there would be 30 toes altogether
