Year 1 Blog.

Each week children will be writing in our blog to tell you what they enjoyed doing in school this week. Everyone will get a chance to do this so keep watching!!

Fred - My favourite thing this week was weighing because I liked using the bucket scales. I learnt that big things can be lighter than smaller things.

Aliyah - This week I enjoyed performing 'The Owl and the Pussy-cat' poem. I liked the voices that we used.It was good to see our performance on the smart board afterwards.

Nina - My favourite thing this week was learning about grams and kilogrammes because I didn't know this before. I learnt that 1kg weighs the same as ten 100 gram weights.

Boris - 'The Owl and the Pussy-cat' was my favourite part of the week. I really enjoyed performing it with Omari. It was good to watch it back on the video camera!

Kevin: I really enjoyed learning which object was heavier and which was lighter. The best bit was the weighing using the bucket scales.
