Story Detectives.

Today the children were story detectives. At first I kept the story that we were going to explore a secret. In groups the children were given objects/pictures from the story and asked what they thought these objects/pictures were. They then had to think of who within the story may use these, what they would use them for, when they would use them and why. Finally each group had to predict the title of the story using the clues they identified so far. Many were correct in predicting 'The Owl and the Pussy-cat'.
