Online Safety: resources
08 Feb 2017
Thank you to all the parents who joined us for yesterday morning’s session run by Sue of the London Connected Learning Centre.
Her colleague, Joe, ran assemblies in the afternoon for KS1 and KS2 as well as a staff training session at the end of the school day.
Hopefully you have some ideas on how to start the ‘be safe on the internet’ conversation with your children!
We’ve uploaded the presentation and some resources below:
Here are some links that we discussed at the parent meeting:
The ThinkUKnow website has cartoons and games to start your conversation.
The Internet Matters shows you how to find the safety settings and set parental controls on various sites.
The NSPCC has a section with advice for keeping children safe online.
CEOP where you can report ANY concerns you have.
The NSPCC Share Aware has clips for you to share with your children - you decide if it's right for your family.
Let's be the change and unite for a better internet!
