Resources

24 Jan 2021

Good morning everyone,

We hope you had a restful weekend and are ready for another week.

We will be starting Area as a new topic in Maths this week. As of Wednesday, children will need squared paper and a ruler for the lessons. Children will need to print out worksheets this week in order to complete their independent task. Squared paper and any worksheets you cannot print will be available to collect from the school office from 9am on Monday.

In addition to this, on Wednesday children will be carrying out a 7 day experiment as part of our Science topic Animals including Humans. Please can you support your child in setting up the experiment, for which they can record the results for. For this experiment they will need:

3 small size apples OR 3 medium eggs
3 transparent beakers or anything transparent that can hold liquid and the apple/egg.
Any fizzy drink
Any fruit juice

If you need any help getting these items, please contact the class teacher as soon as possible.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support. As always do contact us if you need any support with the home learning.

Have a lovely week.

Miss Nadeem and Mr Dawes.

Hi Lyla! We are going to be creating different shapes so one or two sheets should be okay.
