English Comprehension work 11.03.22
We'd like to trial this (more eco-friendly) way of doing English Comprehension with the children online.
Please let us know how you and your child found it.
Whilst completing this task your child may benefit from your support
in the form of:
-> Understanding words that they do not know the meaning of, even if they are able to read them.
-> Reading the questions if they are unsure about what exactly they are being asked to do.
In the classroom we would encourage the child to give longer and more detailed answers in response to prompts such as "explain why", "give your reasons why" "why do you think this? " in order to really show their understanding and as a challenge. Please do Part 1 first and then move onto Part 2.
